TNHT Staff: @YesThatsDee ________________ Neighbors, a disagreement over some TRASH CANS allegedly ended with one woman getting taken through the blender! ________________ It started when Ayla confronted her neighbor for allegedly placing her trash bins too close to Ayla’s home, preventing her from putting her own cans in their alleged designated spot. Ayla recorded herself knocking on the woman’s door, and the two quickly got into a heated argument, cursing and screaming at each other. ________________ The neighbor said she planned to keep putting her bins in the same spot because other neighbors already had their cans in certain areas. She told Ayla all she needed to do was move hers over a little. ________________ Well, child, that was NOT the end of it. In Ayla’s final video before things turned physical, the neighbor was seen putting her bins outside and told Ayla she “better not touch them.” Ayla immediately put her hand on one of the trash cans while continuing to argue. The neighbor then clarified that she didn’t care if Ayla touched them, but she better not move them. ________________ What happened immediately afterward wasn’t shown, but when Ayla popped back up on TikTok, CHILEEEE! It looked like that neighbor had taken her through a blender. Ayla had visible red marks and scratches on her face and flat-out admitted, “I undoubtedly got my a** beat.” ________________ Ayla claims the neighbor had seen the TikTok videos about their dispute and was upset before things turned physical. Police were called, though it’s unclear how the situation ended. One thing is for sure: them trash cans better stay EXACTLY where they are because enough has been sacrificed! *we do not condone bullying or violence*
Who is Edelman? It’s a question that has plagued me for over a decade. About 13 years ago, a friend of mine found a Los Angeles Lakers jersey at a local thrift store and decided to make it the only article of clothing he would wear for that entire summer. The name on the back of the jersey was “Edelman”. “It must be some c-list player nobody’s ever heard of”, we all thought. It actually seemed kind of cool to support a relatively unknown professional athlete. Almost, hipster. Except, when we tried looking up Edelman online, nothing came up. The closest result was three-time Super Bowl champion wide receiver, Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots. That couldn’t be it. Why would an NFL player’s name be on an NBA jersey in the back of a Value Village in East Vancouver? Why would it exist at all? We came to the conclusion that it was most likely just a custom jersey created by some regular schmo, whose name happened to be Edelman. He became somewhat of a folk hero within our social circle. The mysterious Edelman. Who was he? Where did he live? Does he walk among us? Does he watch us from the shadows, filled with rage and regret for abandoning his beloved jersey? Keeping tabs on it. The summer lulled on, and the jersey came with us wherever we went. Lazy afternoons at Kits beach. Late nights at the Diamond in Gastown. Brunches at Biercraft on Commercial. Throwing wine bottles at trains in Crab park, while “All Gold Everything” by Trinidad Jame$ rattles out of an iPhone 4. Screaming Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse, at the absolute top of our lungs, during Earls happy hour in Kelowna. All the while wondering, who is Edelman? Eventually my friend grew tired of the jersey and dropped it off at the same thrift store he originally found it at. I like to think some other ragtag posse of wayward miscreants adopted it and took it on a whole slew of brand new adventures with them. Or maybe it finally found its way back to Edelman himself. I guess we’ll never know. 🥲
