bear-ly containing my excitement !! 🐻✨🫶🏻
It is with immense excitement and gratitude that I announce my commitment to Missouri State University for my BFA in Musical Theatre!!
First and foremost, I give all the glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has carried me through this crazy application/audition process not once, but twice, and I would not be standing here if it weren’t for my savior. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and love. may these next four years continue to bring glory to your name!
Second, I want to thank my family. Mom and dad, you both have sacrificed so much for me over the past 5 years to get me to this moment. I would not have made it here without your hands to wipe away my tears, your arms for me to fall into, and your loving guidance as I have weighed every option. You have worn down the floor in prayer and have been the ones to remind me to turn my focus and trust to the Lord. There will be no way I can ever thank you enough <3 I love you more than words can express. To my siblings (Katelyn, Ram, Aubrie, Meeghan, and Josiah) Thank you for being patient with me, for rejoicing in my successes and mourning the failures with me, and being patient as I figure this all out. I have the best support group in the world and I love each one of you oh so much.
Third, I want to thank the faculty at Missouri State, especially Mr Josh Young, for taking their chances on the girl from Wisconsin. I cannot wait to get started in the fall!! And as always BEAR UP!
FINALLY, thank you to each one of you reading this who have prayed for me, loved on me, have simply checked in on me during audition season, encouraged me when I was at my lowest, and have just been in my corner throughout this entire process. I can’t name each one of you, and that alone makes me so emotional. Please know that I am so immensely grateful for each one of you. I am the Haven that I am today because of all of your support, prayer, and love.
