bear-ly containing my excitement !! 🐻✨🫶🏻 It is with immense excitement and gratitude that I announce my commitment to Missouri State University for my BFA in Musical Theatre!! First and foremost, I give all the glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has carried me through this crazy application/audition process not once, but twice, and I would not be standing here if it weren’t for my savior. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and love. may these next four years continue to bring glory to your name! Second, I want to thank my family. Mom and dad, you both have sacrificed so much for me over the past 5 years to get me to this moment. I would not have made it here without your hands to wipe away my tears, your arms for me to fall into, and your loving guidance as I have weighed every option. You have worn down the floor in prayer and have been the ones to remind me to turn my focus and trust to the Lord. There will be no way I can ever thank you enough <3 I love you more than words can express. To my siblings (Katelyn, Ram, Aubrie, Meeghan, and Josiah) Thank you for being patient with me, for rejoicing in my successes and mourning the failures with me, and being patient as I figure this all out. I have the best support group in the world and I love each one of you oh so much. Third, I want to thank the faculty at Missouri State, especially Mr Josh Young, for taking their chances on the girl from Wisconsin. I cannot wait to get started in the fall!! And as always BEAR UP! FINALLY, thank you to each one of you reading this who have prayed for me, loved on me, have simply checked in on me during audition season, encouraged me when I was at my lowest, and have just been in my corner throughout this entire process. I can’t name each one of you, and that alone makes me so emotional. Please know that I am so immensely grateful for each one of you. I am the Haven that I am today because of all of your support, prayer, and love. here’s to the next four in my new favorite place! BEAR UP 🤭✨🐻 (repost from my personal account 🫶🏻) by @havenlanemt

proof that life gets so much better after college auditions !! if you had told haven a year ago where she would be now she wouldn’t have believed you. i’m feeling grateful for the little dose of perspective that i have tonight. instead of complaining about long papers, I can’t help but be grateful for where im at: a program that i love with the people that i love pursuing the thing i love as a career. how lucky i am!! for those heading into auditions this week: i promise you it all pays off and gets so much better than you could have ever dreamed. in a year you’ll look back and be so proud of the work you put in and the art you created in those audition rooms. take a deep breath and trust yourself and your art. it will all turn out as it should! #fypageシ゚ #trending #audition #msumt #missouristate by @havenlanemt
Voice Recital Summer 2025 - what a joy it is to dive back into this song again 🥹🫶🏻 i’m holding out for someday again my sweet belle!! I began working with @the.virtual.virtuoso back in January for some last minute audition prep and ever since then have witnessed such growth and beauty within my voice. She has been a fountain of wisdom and guidance and i cannot thank her enough for all of the ways she has fostered my voice and my confidence in our lessons!! I truthfully would not have been as successful this audition season without her guidance. in my first two weeks with her, i was doing things i’ve never done with my voice and connected to my material in ways i hadn’t ever before!! she is incredible, and i’m so lucky to have found her!! even though it wasn’t perfect, this was by far the best i have ever sang this song and im so proud of how far i’ve come. thank you colleen for helping me grow and fall in love with singing again 🥹🫶🏻 #singing #home #beautyandthebeast #belle #voice #recital #trending #song #lesson #yay #insta #reel by @havenlanemt

“the future is full of mysteries, so please let this be mine… my one perfect moment in time!” . this song has been stuck in my head as i’ve prepped for auditions this week! the message seems eerily relevant to my headspace this week 😅 . you all wanted song covers… so here’s song cover #1!! not perfect by any means, but i’m learning to not wait for perfection before sharing my art 🫶🏻✨ . hope you enjoy!! vote for the next song cover below! . prescreen result recap! . prescreen season in numbers: - 20 academic applications - 16 prescreens - 11 rejected prescreens (including my dream school) - 6 invited auditions (one school did not prescreen) . oof. typing those numbers out were a little brutal tbh. it’s super easy to fall into feelings of discouragement and hopelessness when you see that many NO’s all in a short period of time, but instead, i’m choosing to be proud and grateful for the 5 auditions that i got! getting rejected from any school, especially my dream school was HARD… BUT i know with everything within me that my God has a very very good plan for me and for my future (Jeremiah 29:11)! . countdown to unifieds: 7 days !! . #musicaltheatre #mtauditions #chicagounifieds #prescreening #prescreenseason #results #auditioning by @havenlanemt
