RELATIONSHIPS AS A CATALYST FOR GROWTH ♥️
There have been many moments in my life, stretched across the years, where relationships have come and gone, some gently, others crashing through everything I thought I knew.
Each one, in its own way, has changed me, and perhaps that is why Jung’s words resonates so deeply. He reminds us that relationships are far more than emotional entanglements. They are mirrors and they are teachers.
He believed that every connection, especially the ones that stir us to our core, holds a fragment of our inner world.
We don’t simply fall in love with another person, we fall into a reflection of our unconscious parts of ourselves.
The tenderness, the conflict, the ache, the longing, these are not just emotions, they are clues.
Clues that, if followed with presence and care, can lead us inward.
Because relationships are not only about us and them, they are about the self we discover in the space between, as a slow, sacred becoming of who we truly are.
In all their beauty and complexity, relationships are like vessels places where that becoming is quietly, powerfully shaped.
It is humbling to realize that love, at its deepest, is not simply about being seen or understood.
It is about being revealed.
In essence, Jung saw relationships as both a catalyst for personal growth and a mirror reflecting our inner world. He believed that by understanding the dynamics of our relationships and the projections they involve, we can better understand ourselves and embark on the journey towards individuation.
I warmly invite you to my practice (or zoom) for an intentional conversation about how I may support and guide you on your journey.
