It’s time!!
I’m thrilled to invite you to Songs of Youth, my Junior Honors Recital, featuring pianist Jason Carlson! Centered on themes of childhood and youth, this recital journeys through scenes of folk life in Mussorgsky’s Nursery Song Cycle, conjures fairytale creatures like the Fire-Rider and Pied Piper in selections by Hugo Wolf, and explores lullabies by De Falla, Britten, and Poldowski.
I’m beyond lucky to close with a dreamlike performance of Barber’s Dover Beach, featuring some amazing Bienen musicians!
Join in-person or via livestream on May 4th at 8:30pm — the link is in my bio :)
