“It’s Finland, how bad can it be?” Nearly 1 in 3 restaurants inspected got flagged by health inspectors. Is your favorite spot one of them? 👀 Yle analyzed official Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto) data from 16,000+ inspections between January 2024 and July 2026. 30.6% of the restaurants inspected got at least one “to be corrected” or “poor” grade. The good news: every result is public. Comment CHECK and I’ll send you the official database so you can look up any restaurant in Finland. The footage in this video is for visual purposes only. It is not real footage from the inspections or the restaurants in the report. Source: Yle News, Ruokavirasto inspection data
“Young people are not being included in the conversation,” said the Swedish climate activist @gretathunberg as she joined students protesting in France on Tuesday. The country witnessed another day of nationwide demonstrations over chronic teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms and crumbling buildings. Now in their third week, the protests – backed by unionists, some teachers and radical leftwing opposition politicians – have shaken a government caught between calls for urgent public investment and pressure to reduce France’s ballooning deficit and debt. So far, more than 200 teenagers, 100 school staff and 700 police officers have been injured as many accuse the police of using disproportionate levels of force. I’ve personally been following Sam for a while now, and I’ve always admired what he does. He finds struggling restaurants, secretly reviews their food, and shares his experience with his followers. Sometimes, all a small business needs is a little exposure, and that simple act of kindness can change everything. ❤️ Sam is usually the one making someone else’s day, so when we randomly crossed paths in Waikiki, we thought it would be pretty special to put him on the receiving end for a change. We got to take him surfing, share some laughs, and get to know the guy behind the videos. And he’s exactly the kind of guy you’d expect to be doing this kind of work. Just a genuinely good dude! Sam, you spend so much time making other people’s days. We’re grateful we got to be a small part of making yours 🤍
