The texture is THE most satisfying thing ever. Recipe below! It was sooo good with a little tartness and a tiny bit of bitterness from the grapefruit to make the plums not too sweet (make sure to remove the thin clear skin from your grapefruit to reduce bitterness). Plus the perfect slightly salty pistachio cream using @eatpistakio pistachio paste.

This recipe has been adapted from @cloudykitchen amazing recipe! I increased the measurements so I could make it extra tall. I’ll put the ingredients with exact amounts I used below, but for more tips & FAQs I recommend checking out the Cloudykitchen.com recipe titled “PERFECT SWISS MERINGUE PAVLOVA”.

Swiss Meringue Pavlova
* 8 egg whites (about 265g)
* 465g granulated sugar
* 3/4 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract added near the end of mixing)
* 2.5 tsp corn starch
* 2.5 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice (or white vinegar)

INSTRUCTIONS
SWISS MERINGUE PAVLOVA
1. Preheat the oven to 335°f (conventional, not fan bake). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper & trace a 9” circle on it using a cake pan or dinner plate. Set aside.
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a heatproof bowl, combine the egg whites, sugar, & vanilla bean paste, whisk well. Set the bowl over a small pan of simmering water to make a double boiler - make sure that the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl.
3. Whisking almost constantly, heat the egg & sugar mixture until the sugar has dissolved and it reads 170°f on an instant thermometer. Now transfer the bowl to the stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (be careful grabbing it as it will be hot).
4. Whip the mix on high speed for ~4 minutes, until stiff peaks have formed that are just starting to clump inside the whisk. This may take a little longer depending on your mixer.

Sorry I’m out of room, recipe will be continued in comments🫶

What do you think — can I go back to the Siberian frosts? I haven’t even seen snow in a long time.

If you want to do hard things, you can do hard things

Donald Trump promised a glorious new era for the working man in America in his campaign for the 2024 election. Instead, many of those the president claimed he would help have lost out, while richer Americans have made gains.

Take the stock market: many have benefited from the AI bonanza, which has driven up the value of the S&P 500. But the impact is lopsided.

Of the $17trn increase in Americans’ equity and mutual-fund wealth since the end of 2024, nearly 90% accrued to the richest tenth of households, compared with just 0.6% for the poorer half, as our chart shows.

🚨 PLANE OR MISSILE?! 9 DEAD NEAR MAR-A-LAGO

A horrifying tragedy unfolded Sunday afternoon, November 1, when what is said to be a private Learjet 60 carrying nine people crashed into a residential area near Cresthaven in Palm Beach County, Florida — just miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

The aircraft had departed Austin, Texas, and was headed to the Bahamas when it suddenly plunged toward the ground, erupting into a massive fireball near a roadway.

All nine people aboard lost their lives. 💔

But now, disturbing footage of the crash is raising questions across social media.

Some viewers are questioning whether what they saw was actually a plane — or something resembling a MISSILE.

Even Florida Governor Ron DeSantis described the aircraft as looking like a missile as it fell.

Authorities have identified the aircraft as a Learjet, and investigators are working to determine exactly what caused this horrific crash.

WATCH THE FOOTAGE. What do YOU think happened here?

We don’t know exactly what went wrong, and we may never know.
What we DO know is that none of us knows the day or the hour.

LIFE IS PRECIOUS. Tomorrow is never promised.

Let us pray for the nine souls who lost their lives, and for their grieving families.
May God have mercy on them and grant them eternal rest. 🙏✝️

What are YOUR thoughts on this tragedy? What do you think really happened here?
Let us know in the comments.

Stay prayed up in these uncertain times.
