Rebirth of a Flower:
Rebirth means
to wither
Grieving every halo that faded
Before repurposing shame

Transforming pity into petals
That twirl in the wind

sewing scabs
Into a the scales on a mermaids tale

Seeing scars as decoration
Like bracelets stamped on my skin
And tears as glittering stars

To weave stuttered breaths into wings
And a hollow spirit into the wind beneath them

And fashion harm into inspiration
And admire how every nightmare has shaped me
