New Yorkers have a longer life expectancy than other US states‼️ Data collected from the NYC Health Department states that the average life expectancy in the city has been 83.2 years since 2024. This is roughly four years higher than the US average of 79 years. The increase, which meets the public health goal that New York had previously set for 2030, has largely been attributed to less COVID-related d*eaths. What do y’all think about this⁉️
2PAC MEETS WHITNEY HOUSTON & BIGGIE'S WIFE FAITH EVANS AGAIN 👀 🗓️ 31 YEARS AGO TODAY: Just 4 days out, Pac meets the legendary & iconic Whitney Houston and crosses paths with Faith Evans again at Arista's Waiting to Exhale affair at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 👀 WHITNEY HOUSTON’S WARNING TO 2PAC: Whitney: "Baby, you got to promise me something. Don’t let them get you." Pac: "I won’t." 📖 BACKSTORY: "The next night was the party for the release of the Waiting To Exhale, soundtrack. As soon as we pulled up, my cell phone rung. "What's up Faith? Where you at?" It was Tupac. I told him I was at the Waiting To Exhale party. He said, "I'm here, too! I looked out the car window, and there he was. He made a bee line for the car, opened up the door and jumped in the backseat with us. I wasn't planning on hanging out with Pac. I introduced him to my friend and we chatted until it was time to hit the red carpet. When we got inside the venue, I found our table and sat down. I was just starting to get comfortable when Pac slid into a chair next to me and Nicci."  "He was acting like he was going to sit there for the rest of the night. Tupac eventually left our table and was mingling. After the party ended, we went outside to our limo and Tupac was standing there. "Where ya'll going now?" "We're going to a party at the Peninsula hotel," I said quickly. He said, "That's where I'm staying!" I'll catch a ride over there with ya'll. " "Tupac jumped in the limo and stretched out, making himself comfortable. Now, I was definitely feeling weird. After the party at the hotel, we hung out a bit more with Tupac and his friends, shared a blunt and discussed specifics on my guest appearance." ✍🏼 EXCERPT: "Keep the Faith: A Memoir" 🎵 AFTER THE PARTY: Following their encounter at the Peninsula, Pac & Faith hit Can-Am Studios and laid down three iconic tracks "Wonda Why They Call U Bytch" (Death Row version) along with "Skandalouz" and "All Bout U". Faith's vocals were ultimately scrapped after her label blocked the release. Obviously. 💬 Which version hits harder? OG or album version? Drop a 🔥 if you love this song!! (Swipe left)

#CochlearPartner Cooper has worn cochlear implant sound processors for most of his life, so today I handed the mic to the actual expert. 🎤 From showing how he puts on his Nucleus® 8 Sound Processors to sharing what they help him do and what happens when the batteries die, he’s answering questions about his technology in his own words. Every cochlear implant experience is different, but Cooper’s processors are an important part of how he accesses sound and connects with the world around him. Visit @cochlearamericas to learn more about cochlear implant sound processors and whether cochlear implant technology may be an option for you or your child. Please seek advice from your health professional, outcomes may vary. Not all products are available in all countries. Consult your health professional to determine if you are a candidate for Cochlear technology.
