Well, when i said something different last week i meant it. I took a shot in the dark, and made a cat 321clcr for the NYS skillsUSA welding sculpture competition. The sculpture and myself ended up placing 2nd, in the entire state. Pretty happy with that! I have many more pictures, so just let me know weather to post them or not -
Anyway, onto the model itself. This thing has taken me roughly 190 hours of welding, fitting, cutting, and grinding to get it how it sits currently. She’s made out of mild steel, aluminum, and copper. And every single piece has been cut by either a grinder, dremel, or a torch. No cnc has been used whatsoever. I plan on taking this, aswell as the binder full of more pictures to both the ed’s diecast show, and imcats! Feel free to check it out or ask questions! Honestly i am super proud of this thing, and i do plan on continuing with metal working alongside the models. Let me know if i should post it here.. or maybe a new page? 🤔
