QUEER DANDY!
I’m inspired by those who choose to stand out!
I’ve always loved to dress up. In elementary school I used to wear button up shirts, dickies and an occasional jacket. But out the fear of being picked on I lost that style and settled for ‘fitting in.’ My uniform of choice was wrapped in the safety of the epitome of masculine attire, jeans and a T.
Today, as the 2025 Met Gala happens I relish my growth over the years and how I’ve dared to dress for myself and that elementary kid who wasn’t afraid to stand out!
