Happy birthday to you! @sagarparekh0111 ❤️May God bless you with everything your heart wishes for and more. Thank you for teaching me so many things about life, for taking care of me when I needed it the most, and for always lifting me up whenever I felt low. Thank you for showing me that there is still a world that is pure and genuine, where love exists without conditions and people can be truly good. Thank you for being someone I can trust wholeheartedly, someone I can be myself with and feel safe around.🤍✨ You add calm to my chaos, light to my darkest days, and just the right amount of sugar to my spice. You make life feel a little softer, happier and more beautiful just by being in it. Thank you for being the gentle, kind-hearted person you are Never change. I hope life gives you all the happiness you deserve and so much more. ❤️🧿🧿🧿
Today marks 10 years since my dad passed away. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here but this feels like quite a monumental reflection period in my life. I wanted to share something that happened on my dad’s birthday last year which still sticks with me to this day. My little sister recently got engaged & she surprised me with something I’ll never forget. On December 7th last year, my sister surprised me with pitch side access to the Fulham vs Crystal Palace & this is where she asked me to walk her down the aisle as my dad wouldn’t be able to. Something I will never forget. Big shoutout to @fulhamfc who sorted everything out for us when they found out the context behind it all ❤️ My dad & I went home & away to Fulham games with my sister coming along too when the chance arose. This particularly happened in my early teenage years onwards & created a close bond with my dad. Sometimes I don’t think he cared as much about the football as I did, but he did it as it brought us closer together. The toy dog in the photo is something I gave to him as a kid when my parents got divorced & he took it everywhere with him. I say all this as I feel a wave of emotion today. Not only for the above story for which I’ll forever be grateful to my sister for, but for what I’ve experienced without my dad. A lot has happened, and I feel I’ve achieved a lot in the last decade. I just wish he could have seen it all. Most importantly, I know a lot of people have also lost parents & people close to them over this last decade & it’s tough. All I can say is that it gets easier & we should be grateful for the great memories we have of our loved ones. Love you dad & miss you ❤️
