Shout out to Freshman Allison Boynton on earning Piper Athlete of the week‼️‼️

Bio: First-year Allison Boynton registered five strikeouts and allowed one earned run over 6.0 innings of work in the pitching circle in an 11-3 victory over Augsburg on May 3. Her two-run double highlighted a three-run fourth inning that gave Hamline the lead for good at 4-3.

Four officers passed away while carrying out their duty to fight a fire in the Mentigen Block area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS), Probolinggo, East Java, on Thursday (October 15). The three officers who died at the scene were Sukaris (55), from the TNBTS National Park Authority, and Wisnu Yuda Pratama (25) and Sefriel Ardiansyah (19), security personnel at Artotel. The fourth victim, Hendra Rony Wagiyanata, also known as Cak Panda, was a junior Manggala Agni firefighter with the TNBTS authority. He passed away later that day after receiving intensive treatment for severe burns. Six people were reportedly caught amid thick smoke and spreading flames. TNBTS Head Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha honored the courage and dedication of the officers, whose commitment to their duty came at a heartbreaking cost. Our deepest condolences to the families, loved ones, and colleagues of Sukaris, Wisnu, Sefriel, and Hendra. May their memories be honored, and may those they leave behind find strength and comfort through this painful loss. 🥀🥀🥀💔💔

Welcome to 📍Lakomotiv Étterem - a very local restaurant in Budapest where the trains don't just decorate the place, they actually run between the tables and deliver your drinks! 😂🚂 Honestly, how fun is that?! It's one of those quirky, unexpected spots that makes going out for a meal a little more memorable. Whether you're visiting Budapest with friends, looking for a fun family-friendly restaurant, or simply want to experience something different, something very local, this place deserves a spot on your list. 🇭🇺✨ Because let's be honest… getting your drinks delivered by a little train is WAY more exciting than having a waiter bring them over. 😭🍹 📍Budapest 1078, Verseny u. 2, 1076 NOTE: Book a table in advance, it gets busy especially during weekends. #Budapest #restaurant #Étterem #food #themedrestaurant
📌 I write down all the ways I am difficult to be married to. I received this advice from another wife, and what a humbling experience! It’s easy to list your husband’s shortcomings, but have you ever honestly considered what it’s like to be married to YOU? Your attitudes, reactions, and difficult habits? 📌 I read my Bible as often as possible, especially when resentment or self-pity creeps in. Nothing exposes my sinful heart quite like God’s Word. It reminds me of who God has called ME to be, regardless of what my husband is or isn’t doing. 📌 I try not to sweat the small stuff. The way he hangs the laundry, loads the dishwasher, or helps around the house. We women often want everything done OUR way. But constantly correcting a man who’s genuinely trying to help is discouraging. Rather express gratitude than criticism over things that don’t really matter. 📌 I intentionally focus on his strengths rather than his flaws. His flaws are still very much there, just like mine. But I refuse to view him primarily through the lens of everything he lacks. What you constantly focus on shapes how you feel about someone. 📌I take the log out of my own eye first. Matthew 7:3–5 is uncomfortable when you’re convinced your husband is the problem. We’re both sinners in desperate need of grace. How can I receive so much mercy and forgiveness from God yet be unwilling to extend it to my husband? 📌I serve my husband I hear so many wives ask, “Why should I do this when he doesn’t do that for me?” Because Jesus told us to serve one another in love. That’s why. Our obedience to Christ shouldn’t depend on whether our husbands are doing their part. This tit-for-tat mentality is the opposite of Christlike love. I serve him because I love Jesus, not because I’m guaranteed something in return. ❤️ None of this comes naturally to me. Keeping my heart soft requires daily humility, repentance, and dependence on Christ. It’s exactly why I created my 28-Day Purposeful Wife Challenge, to help women grow in the areas God has been challenging me in. 📌Comment "LINK" if you’re ready to become a more intentional, Christlike wife
Last night, my store @metrotowneyewear was broken into and $50k+ worth of items were taken. Our front entrance window and display cases were smashed as well. This is the 3rd time we’ve been robbed since opening… and we’ve been open for less than a year, in a mall that’s supposed to have 24hr security… 😔 This is super upsetting but most we can do now is repair the store + keep business running and try to find this man. If anyone has any information on this man or this incident, please reach out to me. The items he stole were mostly Cartier glasses / sunglasses, so if you see anyone selling a large quantity pls lmk too!
