I could speak for hours and still never fully capture the depth of love, admiration, and respect I had for my grandmother. She was the steady hand that held us all together. She was the embodiment of strength, unity, and the MOST unconditional love. I never felt like I had enough time with you, but the times that we did have together I cherished deeply. What she meant to me…I can’t even put into words. All I can do is shed tears. I was truly blessed to have her as my grandmother.

She lived with a purpose and left behind a legacy; one built not just on her accomplishments, but on the countless lives she touched with her warmth, wisdom, and grace. She has shaped the way I see love, family, and the kind of people I want around me for the rest of my life.

Every time I see a little hummingbird, I’ll think of her; small but mighty, gentle yet full of life.

I love you deeply Grandma Sylvia. We will continue to celebrate you for forever and ever as my children and grandchildren will know all about you. Thank you for everything you were and everything you still are in spirit. Fly high “my love!”🕊️
