$A Tennessee mother is facing multiple criminal charges after allegedly driving her vehicle off a cliff with her two children inside, leaving the car overturned near railroad tracks. Chase Ryan Klinedinst, 30, was arrested Monday, October 12, on an outstanding warrant connected to the September 7 crash in Chattanooga. She faces charges of driving under the influence, vehicular a$$ault, and two counts of child neglect. According to an arrest affidavit, Klinedinst was traveling along Stuart Street around 8:30 p.m. when she reached a d*ad end. Investigators allege she continued down a dirt path before driving over Coffey’s Cliff, causing the vehicle to plunge approximately 20 to 25 feet. The car landed upside down near railroad tracks, with both children still secured in their safety seats. One child reportedly suffered a fractured forearm and pulmonary contusions, which are bruises to the lungs. Authorities also discovered an empty wine bottle inside the vehicle and an unopened bottle in the passenger compartment. Investigators reported that Klinedinst displayed signs of intoxication following the crash, including slurred speech and the smell of alcohol. She also allegedly became combative with emergency medical personnel. The arrest affidavit states, “Klinedinst’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was extremely impaired and was a major contributing factor in the crash.” Klinedinst was ultimately taken into custody more than a month after the incident. The reported allegations have resulted in criminal charges, but her guilt has not been established in court. Thank goodness the children were okay🙏🏾$

Dolce far niente ☀️🌴🥥
“The sweetness of doing nothing.”
One of my favourite phrases! ✨

I’ve chosen to spend this birthday on a beautiful island with no real agenda other than to savour the slow mornings, the sunshine, the little moments that make me smile, the unexpected kindness of strangers, and the quiet luxury of my own company.🤍

We can become so accustomed to our blessings that we start treating them as ordinary, always moving the goalposts and saving our happiness for whatever comes next. Ambition and contentment can coexist. You can want more for yourself without making the life you have feel like it isn’t enough.

In the pursuit of the next big thing, don’t forget to appreciate the things you once hoped for. The dream isn’t just about where you get to go. It’s about having the freedom to decide when, why and how.

May we all learn to enjoy the lives we’re so busy trying to build. 🦩🍇🐽👙
