Thank you for teaching me what true love looks like. How it’s shown. How it’s given. How deeply important it is.

I can’t imagine how it felt for you to watch me walk through the breast cancer journey… the same journey you once had to face. But you showed up for me in every way.

You were there the moment I opened my eyes. You changed my drains, my bandages, painted my toes, took me to appointments, made sure I took my meds, and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be.

You’ve always loved me through my hardest moments. And for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
