Ohh So Elegant, Oh So Educated.

So much love to the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for shaping this journey of mine with purpose and poise. I’ve been honored to continue this legacy, what’s scholarship without service?

Endlessly grateful for my village: family, friends, and mentors whose love, guidance, and support carried me to this moment.

& The biggest shoutout to my God.
Mark 11:24, I am truly blessed. πŸ’πŸ’’

GIFT GUIDES 2026 are here! πŸ‘ I absolutely love putting these together (they actually take me way too much time but give me so much pleasure ☺️ and help me to focus the mind with my own gifting!) There are 4 coming today and 4 coming in a couple of weeks time. I try to include a mix of gift ideas from small businesses and bigger retailers and different price ranges including stocking fillers. If you want to get your hands on all the links to purchase just drop the word GUIDE below and I’ll send them over to you. Happy shopping! ❀️ | gift guides | small biz gift guide | gifts for teens | gifts for gardeners | gifts for country lovers
Been busyyy 🐝
too flat or exactly right? ☺
You’re going to put that where?! 😱 Yep… THAT is going into the middle of my hip. πŸ˜³πŸ’‰ If needles didn’t bother you a minute ago, how about now? πŸ˜‚ This is technically my fifth Sinogel injection, and it’s become one of the biggest tools I have for managing the chronic pain in my hip. The easiest way I describe it? Even a well-maintained motorbike needs its chain lubed and its moving parts looked after. My reconstructed hip needs a little extra workshop attention too. πŸ”§ Think of it as adding lubrication back into the joint. It’s not a magic fix, and this particular maintenance job is definitely not pleasant β€” especially when you see the four-inch needle! Afterwards my hip normally flares for 2–3 days while everything settles. But then… boom. πŸ’₯ For me, the difference in my pain levels can be dramatic. And the timing of this one is pretty important. I’m about to head to Turkey to cycle 1,000+ km with over 21,000 metres of climbing, towing a toddler, trailer and a colossal amount of kit. Day after day, it’s going to ask a huge amount from a body that’s already been through seven surgeries and a major hip reconstruction. I’ve learnt that sometimes there absolutely is a time and place for invasive surgery. But I’ve also learnt the value of finding less invasive options that can help keep me moving. I picture life a bit like an arrow. 🏹 Sometimes you have to be pulled backwards before you can shoot forwards. This injection is the uncomfortable bit. The flare-up is the backwards bit. Then hopefully… Turkey is the forwards bit. πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·πŸš² It’s genuinely been a life-changing discovery for me, and right now I’m incredibly grateful to have another tool in the toolbox to help keep this particular machine on the road, doing the things I love. Watching the needle go in or looking away β€” which team are you on? πŸ’‰πŸ‘€ Either way, send this to your mate who spends more time maintaining themselves than their bike. πŸ˜‚πŸ”§ #Sinogel #ChronicPain #TurkeyAdventure #AdventureCycling #thegirlonabike
We always say it takes a village. I’m here to help mould one and what better time to start than Black History Month? I’m looking for doctors, lawyers, athletes, musicians - anyone. Anyone passionate about sharing knowledge and building a better future for our kids. I’m holding an event next Saturday and have handpicked all the guests attending but I want to allow 20 members of the public to come along too. Apply for a space via the link in my bio. If you’re successful you’ll be notified on Monday πŸ™πŸΎ #blackhistorymonth #bdl #love
