Today marks DAY 619 since October 7th, 2023.
Unfortunately, it’s been almost two years since that horrific massacre took place.
Much of our world has remained silent—or forgotten.

We cannot forget.

Yesterday, we walked. We showed up. In the heat.
We sang Hatikva—Israel’s national anthem, a song of hope.
We cried. We hugged.

On Pearl Street Mall.
With people we had never met.

Silently in our grief.
Holding signs of faces, of names we may never get the chance to meet.

For the hostages.
For the families.
We walk.
We say their names.

Bring them home now.
