My ADHD has gotten the better of me the past few years, and yesterday it hit a new low: I had 40 tabs open across 3 windows. So I finally sat down and actually looked at them. Turns out: • 20 I didn’t need anymore • 10 I needed to review again • 3 I wanted to come back to and buy • 5 “prospect” tabs I knew were gold • 1 I still needed to finish That’s the moment it clicked: this wasn’t a willpower problem, it was a system problem. My browser was doing the job of my brain, and neither of us was doing it well. So I built Tabby. Tabby is a small Chrome extension that gently asks “still need this tab?” when you switch away from one and don’t come back to it. You get three options: keep it, close it, or save it for later. If you save it, Tabby asks you WHY. Read this. Buy this. Research this. Finish this. Send this. Prospect this. Or make your own category entirely. Every tab you save shows up in one place, organized by that reason, so instead of 40 tabs guilt tripping you from your taskbar, you get an actual list of what you meant to do and why. I also just added a Daily Recap. Tabby can summarize what you actually did online today using Chrome’s own on device AI, no data ever leaves your computer. You can ask it follow up questions right in the popup, and turn any of tomorrow’s action items into an actual Google Calendar event with one click. A few things I cared about getting right: → It only asks about tabs you switch away from in the SAME window, never when you’re intentionally working across multiple windows or apps → You can mute any site you don’t want to be asked about again → It also periodically checks every window, not just the one you’re in, so tabs you’ve truly forgotten about eventually surface too, on a schedule you control → Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, nothing sold, nothing tracked If you’ve ever had a browser that looked like a cry for help, this one’s for you. Tabby is live on the Chrome Web Store now. DM me and I’ll send you a link: how many tabs do you have open right now? Be honest. #ChromeExtension #ADHD #Productivity #BuildInPublic # by @maxwell_merzin

L’shanah tovah Everyone. by @maxwell_merzin
👋 Hello! Who else feels like the world is falling apart a little more every day? Yeah… it can be a LOT to hold. What we’ve been living through isn’t normal, and it’s okay to admit that. Sometimes it feels easier to shut the world out than stay engaged with it. But we can’t give up. When you’re in a funk… 🎵 Put on some Oliver Tree 🌳 Move your body. Encourage each other. Have fun. Play around. 📞 Call your mother🧢 Keep going. The world needs people who keep showing up. We’re changing the world. Together. 💜🩷 #moveyourbodyeveryday #callyourmother #olivertree #partnerworkout by @maxwell_merzin
STOP Scrolling. Maybe you or someone needs to receive this right now. This is your SIGN to pause. Let's be real. Being in our bodies is the hardest fucking thing sometimes. Grief, loss, depression it doesn’t just sit on the surface. It lives within us. In the quiet. In the unseen and when we push it down… It festers. It builds up beneath the surface. Quiet. Heavy. Living in the body. Debilitating at times. Until it gets louder and louder and LOUDER. Until we can’t ignore it anymore. Until sometimes our loves ones and friends notice a chance. Something isn't right. We’re being asked to feel it. To name it. To stop hiding or masking. To move it out of isolation and into connection. Out loud. Today a knock on the door... It's time to come out of our caves of depression and grief. The Emerge 5K Rise Against Suicide at Boulder Reservoir was the invitation. A community of survivors Nd supporters coming together not just for awareness but to create access for youth who are struggling. Mental health is health. We all deserve support. Yes, mental health is serious. These connection bracelets. A reminder of what we each carry. Silent. Unseen. Invisible at times. For the ones who couldn’t be here. For the lives we’ve lost to suicide. I think of my Uncle Martin. I think of my husband, a warrior who has lost more friends than I can fathom. Mental health touches all of us, in ways we may be unable to see. Walking. Running. Breathing through it together. Movement is somatics. The body processing what words can’t. Grief moving. Energy releasing. I looked up... A young bald eagle. Held between earth and sky. Trusting its wings. A guide. The wind carrying it forward. Carrying us too. Through every storm, we are not alone. This is more than awareness. This is remembrance. This is choosing to stay. Holding respect for those in the shadows and honoring the lives we’ve lost. Proud of us. Proud of me. This isn’t easy. None of it is. Come out of your cave. You matter. You are not alone 🦅🏔️🦋🏹 #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #riseagainstsuicide #youarenotalone by @maxwell_merzin

Happy Birthday to my Aquarius love, Maxwell ♒️ 🌌 👽 If you know him, you know what a big-hearted, generous person he is. My favorite parts of you are your humor, your ability to understand me better than I know myself sometimes. I know life has not been easy lately and we're have definitely been going through it but I know that whatever we go through, we will get through it. I do also think it's time for us to write some songs together and at least you can start learning the cords and then we go from there?! You always make me smile and are there when life is life-ing. I am so grateful to you and of course, Nahks and I love to the ends of the earth and beyond this planet. Let’s never stop dancing, going to shows spontaneously, and exploring this wild world side by side. I am excited for you and for this incredible year in our lives. Here’s to all the walks, all the hikes, all the travels we yet to venture to. Here’s to love. Here’s to all the magic. Here's to life. L'CHAIM! Onward to a year for the books and making our dreams a reality for realz....I love you xoxo 😘 #happybirthday #aquariusseason #besherti by @maxwell_merzin
My Beshert. My Babe. My Maxwell. My Maxey:Maybe (Max + Babe.) You're the best thing, the most selfless human. You keep me going when I want to give up on my dreams. You get me like no one really does. Wildddd... It’s been two years since our wedding day. In some ways it feels shorter…and other days—it feels like a lifetime. Alas… I am taking time to reminisce about where we’ve been and where we’re going. There is no one I'd rather be doing this all with. Babe, we really have had quite the adventures—from MI to Tulsa to MI again to Colorado… to all the places we dream of going. I wouldn’t have it any other way. “We are the nowhere generation… We are the kids that no one wants, We are a credible threat to the rules you set…” …and still, we made our own rules. Built a home in the chaos. Found belonging in each other when the world didn’t quite get us. Maxey, thank you for choosing this love with me—again and again. For laughing with me, crying with me, moving cross-country with me, and believing in the magic of living life out-loud. Always. Here’s to two years. Here's to beating our own drums in our own way. To being the nowhere generation but also knowing know where we are going. Onward to LIFE! To LoVe! To all of it. L'CHAIM! 🖤 🎶 💫 #nowheregeneration #weddinganniversary #beshert #av #jewishlovestory #themerzins by @maxwell_merzin
Two years down and lifetime to go. Thanks for sharing your toothbrush, being my guinea pig for new recipes, making sure our pup is always smiling, being our rock, and calling me out when I’m acting a fool. Together we can do anything. It’s us against the world @tikkunelana. by @maxwell_merzin
Today marks DAY 619 since October 7th, 2023. Unfortunately, it’s been almost two years since that horrific massacre took place. Much of our world has remained silent—or forgotten. We cannot forget. Yesterday, we walked. We showed up. In the heat. We sang Hatikva—Israel’s national anthem, a song of hope. We cried. We hugged. On Pearl Street Mall. With people we had never met. Silently in our grief. Holding signs of faces, of names we may never get the chance to meet. For the hostages. For the families. We walk. We say their names. Bring them home now. 🎗️🔯🇮🇱💔👟 #bringthemhomenow #run4theirlives #boulder #colorado #amyisraelchai #hatikva by @maxwell_merzin
