My neighbor, Tom Turnbull that I’ve lived beside for 34 years. I will miss him.

DID YOU KNOW? A Bill can die before it ever reaches the President.

The Elections (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill passed the Senate in December 2024. This week the National Assembly amended it and sent it back.

Now the Senate must choose: accept those changes, or reject them and thus have it head to a Joint Mediation Committee. Under Article 113, if that committee can't agree within 30 days, or either House rejects its compromise, the Bill is defeated.

The Senate now decides what happens next. Two of the issues in play: how election results reach the public, and what it takes for voters to recall MPs and Senators.

Your Senator will vote on this.

Tell your Senator what you think. Use CEKA's Memorandum tool to email your position to the Senate in minutes. It's a citizen submission, not a formal hearing, but it puts your voice in front of them.
