a year agoHi Levi God Bless U r an Inspiration 🙏 I m late 60s try to live Healthy wellness routine I haven’t travelled main concern is the hypoglycemia that comes w adrenal insufficiency I constantly have to carry snacks and liquids !! Any suggestions..?
a year agoThis is also tricky w a cortisol pump. Every hour you are getting a small amount of cortisol released that adds up to the total daily amount run at a circadian rhythm. I have to remember to switch the time zone or else it does not end well for me 😅
a year agoI do exactly as you mentioned and that’s what my endo recommends as well. Usually on plane i’ll still take it based on EST time, but as soon as I land wherever i’m traveling I get on that time zone asap. Great tips as always brother! ❤️🙌
a year agoDoes adjusting early affect how you feel those 2-3 days before? When I traveled to Europe last year, I started adjusting while I was on my flight so I’m curious!
a year agoWhat your endocrinologist told you is also what I suggested you do....... Starting before you go allows your body to adjust without going into any stress. You can't really take to much hydrocortisone so as I mentioned to you before taking extra doses at the right time before you go won't hurt you. Have travelled 12 hours plus to other continents and completely different time zones I can vouch that starting a few days before works a treat.
