October is a month I’ll look back on with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. This month has brought joy and pain, some physical for me (Maggie in the marsh and oyster cuts as a result, massive burns from stupid curling irons and leash tangles causing wrist tears) and some emotional (standing over my mom watching her body try to fight a 105.6 fever is something that will haunt me until the day that I die). But, we lived to see November. We literally thrived and then just survived this month. And the longer I’m on this earth the more that I find I’m a student of that rhythm. We all are. If I’ve learned nothing else, and if I could pass on only one lesson from these 46 years on the planet, let it be this. No matter how good you’ve got it or how bad your life feels right now, nothing lasts forever. It never gets easier and stays easier. Happiness is truly found in navigating both periods of your life with grace, as much grace as you can muster, for yourself and those around you. That’s something I’m still working on. And, to be completely honest, I’m crap at it but I’m trying. This was October… (Never been happier to hear Mariah Carey at midnight on November 1st).
Take Yo’ Praise A little moment to share gratitude never hurts so here it is: I know that there is a human being behind each like, comment, follow, subscription, tip, purchase (well that is less and less true but I don’t think bots are buying my videos quite yet 🤣) and even tho I couldn’t give an individual thank you to each and every one of you let me say it here for you: thank you so much for your appreciation and support. My life has changed a lot since I started here and even tho the golden age has ended quite a while already for me this still offers me the possibility to realise one of my dream: creating a Sanctuary! I don’t take your support for granted and I hope you can feel it in the love I pour into making nice content for you 🥰 You are seen and appreciated, I know maybe not individually but still I see you probably more than you think even if I don’t answer all the comments I read most of them 😉
After giving it our all on the court, we walked away with an L.
Away point secured. The work continues.
