a year agoThis is so disrespectful. Respect others if you want to be respected. Respect is earned. And this is not earning it. You would not do this in a synagogue or mosque. So have the same respect for the church.
a year agoYou claim ‘respect is earned,’ but is this how you prove your point, by staging a performance on a sacred altar? There are countless venues where you could express yourselves creatively, yet you chose the one space held holy by millions. That’s not activism; that’s provocation masked as art. You speak of past trauma and demand respect for your pain, but turn around and inflict a different kind of hurt on an entire faith community. How does that help your cause? You don’t fight disrespect by becoming disrespectful. That’s not justice. That’s hypocrisy.
a year agoThis is so incredibly awful. This is both disrespectful and disgusting. How dare could you be dancing on a literal alter? It’s isn’t alright to be dancing there in a first place, but to be performing with such a disgusting shit, is even more disrespectful to the God. If you don’t believe in God, why the fuck are you in church anyways, promoting this gayish bullshit?
a year agoReally dancing at an alter have a bit of respect do it outside would be much better.
