Let’s talk about the part after the divorce…
The part no one really prepares you for.

You’re not drowning anymore.
But you’re not thriving either.
You’re somewhere in the middle—
Not who you were.
Not quite who you’re becoming.
Just… suspended.

And in that space?
Most women start to shrink.
Not because they’re weak.
But because they’re still living by beliefs they never chose.

Beliefs like:
✨ “I should just be grateful.”
✨ “I have to be punished for getting divorced.”
✨ “My power is too much—it’s safer to stay small.”

I know them well.
Because they almost became my truth.

But here’s what I learned:
Those beliefs?
They aren’t from God.
They’re from survival.

📖 I go deep into this in Episode 104 of Rebuilding You.
It’s the episode I wish I had when I was rebuilding from scratch.

👇🏼Comment 104 and I’ll send it straight to your DMs.
It’s time to rebuild from truth—not trauma.

xo, Christina

I prayed and prayed to have my marriage fixed. He showed me the light outside the door and I still tried to fix everything. I finally listened..

When a spouse breaks the covenant through sexual immorality, refuses repentance, abandons reconciliation, and walks away from God’s order, the covenant is no longer intact. “Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.” — Matthew 19:9 This is the one exception Jesus gave, fornication (sex before marriage), adultery (sex with someone not your spouse), prostitution, incest, homosexual acts, bestiality, pornography (by extension). When that line is crossed, the marriage bond is broken. Not by law alone, but by unfaithfulness in spirit and body. “If the unbelieving depart, let them depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. God has called us to peace.” — 1 Corinthians 7:15 When one departs from both covenant and Christ, the other is not bound to remain in bondage. Scripture calls for peace, not imprisonment. “She is free to marry anyone she wishes, only in the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 7:39 Freedom to remarry comes with responsibility it must be in the Lord, not in emotion, not in flesh, not in haste. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing…” — Isaiah 43:18–19 God brings release, not regret and when truth is honored, freedom follows. “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” — John 8:36 No one is bound to a defiled covenant. No one is required to stay in what God has already released. Freedom is not rebellion when it’s built on righteous ground.
