Flashes of this day 6 years ago When we lost our hero Our daddy My best friend I would have never thought that would be the last time I saw his face. I was rushing to a witches-night-out with my sisters. The last time I saw his face, time slowed for a second. Like somehow, I knew it was the last time and it pulled at my heart. I remember thinking, I love him, he’s so handsome… then ran out the door. I can still see him exactly in that moment. Not sure how we’ve made it this far. The hardest part is watching life keep spinning on without him. Watching our kids grow, knowing how much he’s missing. That rips my heart out probably everyday. Sometimes it’s the smallest things where I see pieces of him in them. A smile, a laugh, an expression and I think there he is ❤️ I do get to see his face again All the time… in our kids That’s what love does It stays even after death It becomes the stories we tell, the memories of him that live on. He may not be here to make new ones with us, but he will be woven into every one our family makes. Today’s been waves of sadness, anger, love and peace. Dark moments Also, gratitude that I got to live most my life with this fun, outrageous, hilarious human I’ve ever known, loving, giving and just energy for life that is unmatched. Miss you Collin We need you more than ever Would give anything to have you back with us Please keep watching over our beautiful kids Love you so much ❤️🪽 Give your loved ones an 8 second hug today for Collin ❤️❤️❤️ 10/20/2020 ❤️❤️❤️ 4 days before he passed we had a family shoot Hurts so bad 1999 road trip to Huntington Beach He said this was one of his favorite moments of his life. Giving this boy some Jordans Loved listening to him play and sing Baby Avery Never a dull moment Nights together had music or dancing I can’t 💔😭 He loved recording the kids So much love Best daddy He is so proud of his kids still cheering them on My heart His last birthday a sweet, priceless moment he got teary at the kids cards, gifts and songs they wrote him He promoted silliness The famous Dravland reunion when he won 🏆 5 days before we said goodbye Loved being a daddy!
