Sometimes I look back at my life and wonder how I managed to get through everything I have and it’s because I was raised by the most amazing mother who I miss dearly 💖 I’ve experienced heartbreak, grief, rejection, loneliness and moments where I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to carry on. I’ve had to fight to become the woman I am today, and along the way I’ve lost people, been judged by strangers and had to learn how to pick myself back up when nobody else was there to do it for me. Being transgender has never been the hardest part of my life. Best believe I am not perfect. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve questioned myself and I’ve had days where I’ve wanted to give up. But I’m still here. Still growing, still learning, still loving and still trying to create a beautiful life for myself. If there’s one thing I hope people take away from hearing my story, it’s that there’s a real human being behind every screen. Before you judge someone, remember you have absolutely no idea what they’ve had to survive just to be standing where they are today. And to the younger version of me who never thought she’d make it this far … you done it 💖
My mother did something so special for me on my birthday this year. Over the years because of the favor of God and because of all of you supporting my ministry the way you have, I had 5 consecutive Billboard #1 albums. I’ve also had two Billboard #1 radio songs. I Give Myself Away was certified gold (almost platinum now). I also had a Grammy nomination and several other awards and nominations over the years. I was one of Billboard’s top 10 artists of the decade. Yet over the years not only have I not said anything about it, but never had any of the plaques made to commemorate these milestones. My awards have never been displayed because they were never my pursuit. I discovered early that it wasn’t healthy for my heart. This is not an indictment on others, just speaking for myself. I never wanted things to become the object of my pursuit. Just Christ alone. Over the years of traveling around the world (over 50 countries), my kids were younger then and never fully knew how much favor the Lord had shown me. I began to express the desire for them to be able to have something tangible to see some of what the Lord had done through their daddy. So on my birthday as a surprise to me, my mother presented me with just some of the things I never had made. Each of my 5 kids holding a number 1 plaque. Each project made after one of them was born. The pictures don’t even show all of the plaques. God has been really good to me and you guys have too! But the truth still remains that no matter what “success” comes and goes, “Only You can satisfy my heart Jesus!”

Simple Plan: The Photos / 2022-2026 When we looked back at the images captured by our amazing tour photographers @skylerbarberio @annaleemedia @lindseyblane and @shotbywozniak over the last 5 years, one thing became very clear: these photographs were too good, too special, to exist only within the confines of social media. They deserved something more permanent, to be seen on a larger scale, printed on paper, held in your hands and given a life in the analog world. That realization inspired us to release “Simple Plan: The Photos /  2022-2026”, a very special limited edition collector’s coffee table book filled with all the photos from our tours between 2022 and 2026, including some as recent as this past summer! This beautiful book will feature everything from on-stage moments and backstage antics to life on the bus and even pictures we’ve never shared! Its coming out in December 2026 and there are only limited amount of copies available! You can pre-order yours now at the link in our bio. This book is for everyone who came out, sang along, waited by the bus, and made the last five years so amazing. We hope you enjoy it!
