💪 ON-SEASON vs. OFF-SEASON: TWO DIFFERENT BODIES, TWO DIFFERENT GOALS! Read the info below so you can get a better understanding. "My people perish from a lack of knowledge" God In this video, you're seeing two IFBB Figure Pros at different stages of our bodybuilding journeys. 🏆 Coach Jessica – 5 Days Out From Competition - Body Fat: Approximately 8% - Extremely lean, competition-ready physique - A temporary look achieved through months of preparation - NOT a sustainable or healthy body fat percentage for most women year-round 💙 Coach Dee – Off-Season at Age 56 - Body Fat: Approximately 15–16% - Maintaining muscle mass while allowing my body to recover and grow - Eating more, training hard, and focusing on longevity - Staying within a manageable competition off-season range because I plan to compete again Here's what I want women to understand: Jessica's physique isn't fake. It's REAL, but it's a temporary competition physique. What you see onstage is not what most competitors maintain throughout the year. And while my body fat percentage is higher than Jessica's, it's still considerably lower than what's typical for women my age. I'm an athlete. I maintain a leaner physique because of my sport, but that doesn't mean every woman should aim for my body fat percentage. Staying extremely lean can affect hormones, bone health, recovery, and overall wellness. 📊 Women's Body Fat Percentage Guide Approximate general wellness ranges by age, not competition standards. Age| General wellness reference 20–29| 21–32% 30–39| 22–33% 40–49| 24–28% 50–59| 24–30% 60+| 25–32% As you age, a slightly higher body fat percentage can be normal and healthy. Hormonal changes, especially during and after menopause, can affect fat distribution, muscle mass, metabolism, and bone health. Maintaining adequate body fat can also support energy, recovery, and overall wellness. For women in their 40s and 50s, 24–28% body fat can be a perfectly healthy place to be! You do NOT need to be at 15% to look fit, build muscle, or be healthy.

The Garden Club: Autumn Edition🌻 Save up to 61% today! Comment YES PLEASE and I will send you the link to all the Autumn goodness. You can also click the link in my bio to shop. Be sure to save this post so you can come back and shop later🫶🏼 This collection is for the autumn girlies—for the ones who dream of porches overflowing with mums and pumpkins and who live for cozy mornings at home spent browsing old Martha Stewart Living magazines from the ’90s. It’s for the ladies who add a little whimsy to their homes and gardens. For the ones who host with Martha’s eye for detail and Ina Garten’s warmth, and who always have something cozy waiting to eat or drink in the kitchen. An autumn Garden Club looks like gathering with friends to trade seed packets. It looks like coming together to plan and dream about what to plant next spring. It’s a club for whose ideal party is one that looks like making seasonal wreaths and arrangements from foraged florals and greenery. It’s barn coats layered over plaid flannels, denim on denim, well-loved boots, and autumn florals—because a Garden Club girly would never dream of saving florals only for spring. It’s planning meals around what is in season, setting a table with garden clippings, and lingering over warm bread, homemade soup, or a freshly baked apple cake. It’s leaving a basket of extra tomatoes, herbs, or flowers on a neighbor’s porch and canning more than you need with the heart and intention to share it with others. More than anything, The Garden Club is about sharing the abundance: opening our gardens, kitchens, and homes to one another and creating space for community. It’s for the ones who know a garden is about so much more than what it grows—it’s a place to gather, share, create, and make the everyday feel a little more special. More magical. This is for you, my Garden Club girlies🍂
