Week 20 Part 1 Mum-Guilt….can you relate?

I toyed with whether I showed this video and told this story. I’m protective over my children and I don’t want my son feeling bad when he is older if at some point he sees this video but I also know there are so many parents out there who give themselves a really hard time when things go wrong. I felt so guilty about this moment and typically for me the solution in my mind was to work every hour possible over the weekend to make the space better for him by the time he came back to me. Sometimes you’ve just got to get your head down and push as hard as you can! And that’s what I did. I got my bed out of storage, made him room a nicer more familiar space for him and he was happier for it. Job Done!

I’m going to tell you more about my vision for this room in my next reels but for now you can see I’m going with a beautiful light blue called Great Lake by @fenwickandtilbrook and the ceiling in the very versatile Snowdrop to create a very delicate and pretty pale blue/ white combo - lots more to tell you about this room so don’t think for one second it’s going to be boring! 🥰

To all the mum’s suffering with Mum guilt and trying so hard but not always nailing it….I’m standing there with you ✊❤️❤️
