Happy LGBTQ+ Pride Month! We join in commemorating the 56th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and celebrating the myriad contributions of LGBTQ+ people.
We also pay tribute @nyulgbtq’s Richie Jackson Fellows, including NYU Silver’s Isaac Garcia and Navani Perez, BS ’26. Through weekly cohort meetings and year-long paid internships with NYC LGBTQ+ community organizations, these undergraduates developed the skills needed to be leaders in LGBTQ+ advocacy and programming.
The Fellowship was managed this past year by NYU Silver’s Alexia “Alli” Reed, MSW ’25, who did their practicum placement at the NYU LGBTQ+ Center through our Social Work Practice in Higher Education Specialization.
