Authentic Malaysian Cuisine in Manchester! 🇲🇾🍚

I’ve been wanting to try @sambalmcr for a while now, and thankfully @themancfoodie_ offered to take me for my birthday so I finally made it! And, let me tell you, I wish I had made that trip sooner because everything was incredible.

My mouth has been watering making this video because I just want to experience all this food again. Malaysian cuisine has a massive part of my heart, since my friends at Uni would cook amazing homemade meals for me a lot and it gives me a lot of nostalgia.

What we tried:
🌹 Sirup Bandung
🫖 Teh Tarik
🍗 Honey Glazed Wings
🫓 Roti Canai
🍛 Nasi Lemak with Lamb Rendang
🌶️ Mee Goreng Mamak

Every dish had wonderful flavour! Adam was incredibly impressed with how flavourful the mee goreng was and he thoroughly enjoyed the layers of flavour. I loved my Nasi Lemak. I just love the combinations of texture in this dish and the saltiness from the peanuts and anchovies.

The roti canai may have been my favourite thing we ate. The texture of the roti was perfection and the chicken curry had an absolutely excellent flavour. You must try this dish!

The drinks were also delightful and transported me out of Manchester and over to South East Asia.

An absolutely must try spot! Get yourself down to Sambal for some Malaysian grub 🤩
