It's been a while! 🤗 Anyway, I tried out this Malaysian restaurant in Manchester and it was so good! The lamb rendang was my fave and the roti was so flakey and melted in your mouth 😋 can't wait to come back again #foodielife #foodreview #manchesterfood #halalfood #foodstagram by @sambalmcr

Some of these food spots have already become my go-tos since I first tried them this year, and you should definitely save them for next year if you haven’t been yet 👀 @sambalmcr - I went back just a few weeks after my first visit this year because I wanted to try more dishes. Their roti is easily some of the best in Manchester! @smokeondeezbbq - the new BBQ spot in Wigan, currently only open on Sundays. I never thought I was a BBQ person, but this place completely changed my mind 🍖 @trofnq - I’m always on the hunt for good pub grub, and this place just gets it right. If you want a solid pub meal in town, this is the spot! @lojomate - don’t think I need to say much here since this was one of my viral posts this year. They do some of the best char siu in Manchester, and I’ve already been back a few times! @rabbies_thai - a proper little gem that I really want to gatekeep 🙈 Everything is fresh, and most dishes are under a tenner without breaking the bank @highergroundmcr - already a popular spot, but totally see the hype. The attention to detail in both the service and the food is next level; definitely one to treat yourself to next year 🫶🏻 . . . #manchesterblogger #manchesterfood #foodguide #foodandtravel #eatwithme by @sambalmcr

📍@sambalmcr // This family-run Malaysian spot in Manchester is always a solid pick, I’ve already been back a few times whenever I can 🙈 Their chicken satay comes with house-made peanut sauce, and the roti here is honestly the flakiest you’ll find. They also have some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while; super juicy and tender, so make sure to get it with the nasi lemak or even as a starter! Another highlight is definitely their stir-fried dishes like nasi goreng kampung and mee goreng mamak, proper Malaysian street food vibes with a good spicy kick. Everything we tried was spot on, and I can’t wait to come back to try more of their curry dishes next time 👀 . . . #malaysianfood #manchesterfood #manchesterblogger #chorlton #ukfoodblogger #manchestereats #goodfoodguide #foodguide #asianfoodie #eatlikealocal #localguide #foodandtravel #foodwriter #musttry #nasilemak #roti #chickensatay #nasigoreng #meegoreng #ayamgoreng #roticanai #fooduk #asianfood #simplydelicious #localeats #asiancuisine #goodeats #malayfood #malaysiafood by @sambalmcr
Authentic Malaysian Cuisine in Manchester! 🇲🇾🍚 I’ve been wanting to try @sambalmcr for a while now, and thankfully @themancfoodie_ offered to take me for my birthday so I finally made it! And, let me tell you, I wish I had made that trip sooner because everything was incredible. My mouth has been watering making this video because I just want to experience all this food again. Malaysian cuisine has a massive part of my heart, since my friends at Uni would cook amazing homemade meals for me a lot and it gives me a lot of nostalgia. What we tried: 🌹 Sirup Bandung 🫖 Teh Tarik 🍗 Honey Glazed Wings 🫓 Roti Canai 🍛 Nasi Lemak with Lamb Rendang 🌶️ Mee Goreng Mamak Every dish had wonderful flavour! Adam was incredibly impressed with how flavourful the mee goreng was and he thoroughly enjoyed the layers of flavour. I loved my Nasi Lemak. I just love the combinations of texture in this dish and the saltiness from the peanuts and anchovies. The roti canai may have been my favourite thing we ate. The texture of the roti was perfection and the chicken curry had an absolutely excellent flavour. You must try this dish! The drinks were also delightful and transported me out of Manchester and over to South East Asia. An absolutely must try spot! Get yourself down to Sambal for some Malaysian grub 🤩 by @sambalmcr
