Women were among civilians taught to handle Kalashnikov rifles, sniper rifles and RPGs at public weapons-training sessions run by the IRGC and Basij in Tehran, videos on social media showed, as part of a campaign to mobilise and arm civilians.

Nugget is ready for the weekend

10 years. A decade of my life I will never get back, but a story I am finally finding the strength to tell.

What people saw and what happened behind closed doors were two very different realities.

For years, I protected an image while silently losing pieces of myself. I learned to smile through pain, hide bruises, make excuses, and carry things no one should ever have to carry.

For so long, I wanted to believe alcohol was the reason for the abuse. That if the drinking stopped, everything else would too. Derek stopped drinking shortly before his cancer diagnosis, but the abusive behaviors continued. Alcohol was never the entire problem.

The past decade was the most isolating time of my life. There were moments I felt so trapped and hopeless that I questioned whether I even wanted to be here anymore.

And knowing Baylor was affected by things he saw, heard, and experienced within our home is something I will always carry.

I am not sharing this to erase good memories or ask anyone to choose sides. Two things can be true at once. Someone can be loved, missed, and grieved while also being responsible for causing tremendous pain. His passing does not make what happened any less real.

For 10 years, I worried more about protecting everyone else’s feelings than my own. Somewhere along the way, I forgot I was someone worth protecting, too.

I’m sharing this for the woman living the same double life I once did. The one smiling in pictures but crying behind closed doors. The one who keeps believing things will change. The one who feels completely alone.

Please know that abuse doesn’t have to be constant to be abuse. Someone’s good moments do not cancel out the bad ones. You deserve a life that feels safe.

I cannot change what happened to me or what Baylor experienced, but I can choose what happens moving forward.

I get to reclaim my voice. I get to raise my son knowing love should never look like fear. And if sharing my darkest chapters helps even one person find the courage to reclaim their life, then speaking up is worth it.

I spent 10 years protecting a story that was destroying me.

I’m no longer willing to lose myself to keep that story intact. ❤

GIANNIS SCORING AND ASSISTING AT WILL 💪

The Heat offense is looking scary with Antetokounmpo.

Reggie’s brother, James Mack, is now speak out! He says he’s not for the way Reggie and his mom have went about things publicly but that he has gotten help and would love to sit and talk. Thoughts?
