Alumni Spotlight: A.J. Harper (‘11)
A proud member of Field School’s very first four-year class, A.J. remembers spontaneous mid-day field trips, passionate teachers, and the joy of playing every sport imaginable—from soccer to ultimate frisbee.
It was at Field School where he first picked up a lacrosse stick—launching a journey that led him to become an All-American and all-conference collegiate player. Today, A.J. is the Manager of Basketball Operations for the Atlanta Dream (WNBA) and credits Field School for creating a space where it was “cool to excel in the classroom, in sports, and still be a kid.”
We’re so proud of you, @adrianjharper! 💙

I had a very short stint teaching AJ for a semester at The Field School, and remember him well. Love hearing about his accomplishments!
