okay so…this movie was bat shit crazy. absolutely bananas. the brothers do it again and go balls to the wall with this one and you should go see it. sally fucking hawkins stole the movie. her performance felt so real and she was so unlikable in this which meant she ate the shit out this role. the brothers have a talent highlighting young new actors and putting them into something so raw and real and honest. they seem to have a pattern in portraying grief and loss and how far you will go to see those who aren’t here on earth anymore. i have very minimal complaints. there are a lot of questions that go unanswered but it’s something that i can surpass. if you enjoy slow burns, extreme gore, anxiety ridden films, this is it. the same uneasy feeling i had while watching Talk to Me, was amplified. i physically jumped up from my seat to squirm around because there were certain scenes i just had to look away from. go see it. 8/10. ⭕️🩸🔪🍈
