I’m currently so grateful for this chapter of my life. What a beautiful thing it will be to look back one day and realize we were brave enough to chase the life we always wanted. Truly feels great living my dream with my dream people.
How had our entire family never heard of Millionaire Spaghetti?! It exceeded every expectation, was quick to pull together and absolutely sensational. MILLIONAIRE SPAGHETTI PASTA + ALFREDO • 2 boxes cooked spaghetti (2 lb dry); reserve pasta water • 2 sticks butter • 2 Tbsp minced garlic • 2 cups heavy whipping cream • 2 cups grated Parmesan • Salt + pepper MEAT SAUCE • 3 lb ground beef • ½ white onion, chopped • 3 Tbsp minced garlic • ½ cup minced carrot • 1 Tbsp each tarragon, oregano + chicken bouillon paste • 12 oz tomato paste • 28 oz crushed tomatoes • Salt + pepper FOR LAYERING • 3 cups shredded mozzarella • 1 cup grated Parmesan 1. ALFREDO: Melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Add cream; simmer 3–5 minutes. Lower heat and stir in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt + pepper. Toss with spaghetti, adding pasta water as needed. 2. MEAT SAUCE: Brown beef; drain excess fat. Add onion + carrot; cook 5–7 minutes. Add garlic + herbs; cook 1 minute. Stir in tomato paste; cook 2–3 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes + bouillon; simmer 20–30 minutes. Thin with water as needed and season to taste. 3. LAYER: Spread a little meat sauce in a deep lasagna pan. Add half the pasta, half the remaining meat sauce, 1 cup mozzarella + ½ cup Parmesan. Repeat with remaining pasta, sauce, 2 cups mozzarella + ½ cup Parmesan. 4. BAKE: Cover with foil; bake at 350°F for 30–40 minutes until hot throughout. Former Colts GM Chris Ballard, who was fired today, had an opportunity to trade for Matthew Stafford in 2021 and was informed that he was open to playing for the franchise, but Ballard's offer wasn't aggressive enough to compete with the Rams ❌ Peter Schrager revealed in March 2022 that Stafford was willing to be a Colt when trade negotiations were underway a year prior: "Stafford also was willing to be a Colt last year. He was willing to do it. He didn't say no to the Colts. The 49ers, the Rams, and the Colts were the three teams...They didn't go over the top to go get Matthew Stafford last year. It was more, 'hey, Frank Reich and Carson Wentz can go do this.'" At the time, Ballard and Frank Reich decided to proceed with Carson Wentz and Ballard eventually drafted Anthony Richardson 4th overall in 2023 and signed Daniel Jones in 2025. If Ballard went all-in to acquire Stafford, the franchise might've been in a very different state and he'd probably still have a job. (🎥: Pat McAfee Show)
