Happy birthday to Donna Kelce, the mom behind two of the greatest brothers in football and the heart of everything Kelce! Before Jason and Travis were household names, they were two rambunctious boys growing up in Cleveland Heights. Donna and Ed were the ones driving them to practices, cheering from the stands and working as a team to support their big dreams. All the while, Donna built a 30-year career in banking, rising into leadership. She was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning her degree from Ohio University and later her MBA from Baldwin Wallace. And those famous Kelce genes? Jason has said there are legends of Donna’s athleticism in the family. Growing up in Cleveland, she was a standout sprinter and high jumper. Her father didn’t think girls belonged in sports, but she joined her school’s track team anyway, competed in the Junior Olympics and came home with medals. She raised her boys to compete hard, love each other harder and never forget where they came from. Then came Super Bowl LVII. Donna became the first mom ever to watch both of her sons play against each other in the big game, wearing her split Eagles-Chiefs jersey and bringing homemade cookies for both. No matter who won, her boys were both going home with a proud mom. The world has fallen for her since, from Hallmark’s “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” to Season 4 of “The Traitors,” and she has stayed exactly who she has always been: kind, grounded, funny and endlessly devoted to her family. These days her favorite title might be Grandma. Jason and Kylie have given her four granddaughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finn, and her family keeps growing with Taylor now part of it, too. Every big moment in the Kelce story has had Donna close by, cheering the loudest and loving the hardest. Happy birthday, Mama Kelce!!! ❤️ (Swipe for all the photos)
