🚨 PTs & REHAB PROFESSIONALS — CAN YOU IDENTIFY THIS GAIT PATTERN? 👀🚶‍♂️

Your gait tells a STORY. The question is… are you paying attention?

When analyzing gait, look beyond just the feet! 🔍

🦵 STANCE PHASE: Is there adequate stability and weight acceptance?

🦶 FOOT & ANKLE: What’s happening during initial contact and push-off?

🏋️ HIP & PELVIS: Are there compensations, excessive motion, or muscular weaknesses?

🧠 CLINICAL REASONING: Is this a mobility restriction, strength deficit, motor control issue, or compensation?

💡 REMEMBER: Identifying an abnormal gait pattern is only the beginning. Understanding WHY it’s happening is what makes you a better clinician.

👇 YOUR TURN!
Watch the video and tell me:

1️⃣ What gait deviation do you see?

2️⃣ What muscle or impairment would you assess FIRST?

Let’s see those clinical reasoning skills! 🔥
