Still buzzing from last week in NYC—so many amazing new media shows happening all at once, it was great running into a lot of great friends and creative people I knew, it felt like a Hyphen Hub family reunion.

First up, I want to give a huge shoutout to Kevin Peter He @kevinpeterhe , an artist I’ve had the chance to collaborate with a few times now. I first met him during his residency at Onassis ONX, and it’s been incredible to watch his piece Passage evolve. He showed the latest version at New Inc Demo Day and… wow.

Featured here a live performance where Kevin navigates a lush, game-engine world (built in Unreal engine) using a hacked robotic arm, actually controlling the world in real time, while a DJ layers haunting electro-acoustic vibes. This work is part installation, part cinematic concert, part cyber-dreamscape. Nature and tech merging, clashing, surviving.

The performance has already toured major venues in New York, Australia,
L. A. —and seeing it live in NYC hit differently as he continues adding new elements to its narrative through the use of the latest emerging technologies tools. Can’t wait to see where it goes next.
