$Walking and yoga are great for your health, but are they enough to keep your bones strong after 40? 🦴 Osteoporosis can silently weaken your bones without obvious symptoms until a fracture occurs. For women over 40, especially after menopause, strength training is an important part of maintaining bone health, muscle strength, balance, and independence. You don’t need to start by lifting heavy weights. Begin with bodyweight squats, hip hinges, and light push, pull, and carry exercises. Gradually progress with proper guidance and exercises suited to your ability. If you want your parents to start strength training safely, comment “PARENTS” and I’ll send you my beginner-friendly strength training guide for adults aged 40+. Let’s help our parents stay stronger, healthier, and independent for longer. ❤️ [Osteoporosis Prevention, Bone Health After 40, Strength Training for Women, Osteoporosis in Women, Exercises for Strong Bones, Bone Density, Postmenopausal Bone Health, Senior Citizen Fitness, Fall Prevention Exercises, Strength Training for Seniors, Physiotherapy, One Rehab Physiotherapy, Thane, Mumbai]$

War will most likely start again this weekend. There’s only a few weeks left before massive elections in both Israel and the United States. Could this be a last ditch effort to intensify the war in order to postpone or cancel elections? If so, this can be bigger than it has been since the beginning.

This makes me so happy.

#repost @cnn: New York City’s Central Park horse-drawn carriage industry is nearing its end after Mayor Zohran Mamdani and City Council Speaker Julie Menin reached a deal on legislation that aims to abolish the carriage rides.

Menin is expected to bring legislation to the council floor for a vote this month, a spokesperson told CNN.

The move comes after years of criticism from animal rights advocates who charge that the horses are overworked, get easily scared and live in inadequate stables with drivers flouting city regulations. Horse and carriage owners have denied the the claims, arguing the animals are well cared for and the stables are up to code.

The death of 18-year-old tourist Romanch Mahajan, who was killed after jumping from a runaway horse-drawn carriage in Central Park last summer, renewed calls to ban the century-old attraction. Mahajan is believed to be the first person to have died in a carriage accident since the rides were introduced more than 150 years ago, according to the industry’s labor union and the Central Park Conservancy, which manages the park.
