President Trump’s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, describes herself as a lawyer, and the president has called her “an attorney.” But three days into her job, Zacharia is facing questions about her credentials. When she was asked on Tuesday in which state she passed the bar exam, she twice replied, “When I moved to China.” She graduated with a law degree from Pepperdine University in 2011. By some interpretations, that technically makes her a lawyer, though many legal experts said it would not. But to be an attorney, someone who is licensed to practice law and give legal advice, she would have needed to pass the bar. The New York Times was unable to find a law license for her in California, or anywhere else she has lived in the U.S. In an interview on Wednesday, she said the confusion is the result of a misunderstanding. At the link in our bio, learn more about what we found and what Zacharia told our reporter. Photo by @kenny_holston

Another question about fame. How has fame changed me? It hasn’t. I don’t believe fame changes anyone, I believe fame simply magnifies who you are and what you are. Fame will eventually expose what’s inside. So be careful if you chase it. Here’s a quiet lil’ thing I do, whenever I meet famous people. I always pay sharp attention to how they treat other NON famous people around them. Their teams etc. And especially strangers. Reveals a lot. I like our little post workout Rock Talk Q&A’s but geeezus, next time I’ll catch my breath so I don’t sound like I’m trying to inflate a bounce house. Wtf 😂
