A little piece of magic I’ve been brewing ✨ Every year I get so excited about the cherry blossoms 🌸 there’s several on my walk to the studio @nationalsculpturefactory and I love the frivolity of the piles of petals everywhere like confetti because yes I agree nature - every day should be a celebration! But it’s so short lived 😭 so one day I obsessively cut out hundreds of petals from tissue paper and painted each one with watercolour, each a little unique like real petals and just as delicate... Then @studioracheldoolin gave me this gorgeous bell jar… and you know I love to tinker with @arduino.cc every so often and I had a motor and a motion sensor… And so suddenly it all came together to create SPRINGFINITY! 🥳🌸
I am so silly and so ridiculously delighted 😂
I still have some tweaks to work out, like the motion sensor is very sensitive but I do so love the flurry when you walk past! I would really really love if this could be a whole room of magic, just imagine! The world seems so especially full of pain these days and it can feel very overwhelming and hopeless and so I would like to create and live in a lovely silly blossom confetti world please and you’re all invited 🎉 ❤️
