As I sit back and try to find the words to say, I think “what would GrandDude say” and I know he’d say “Go for it Kid.” GrandDude always taught me how to be curious and adventure out.
One time, Grand and GrandDude came to visit me at school, he decided he needed to get gas, so instead of us driving 2 minutes down the road, we took a scenic road trip 1-hour away to Buc-ee’s and that was my first time there. GrandDude always told the stories that were memorable and funny. GrandDude was so intelligent and truly inspires me daily to have an open mind about life.
He was beyond passionate about his career in the funeral business. He knows what hard work is and it is truly something I admire.
He made the best smoked pork ever and I loved getting to go over for dinner anytime I wanted to…I called at my leisurere and he never told me no.
I am really going to miss him. These last 21 years with him were the absolute best and we have too many memories to cherish. Not a day will go by without me thinking about him. He is the best GrandDude in the world and I know he is watching over all of us. I can’t wait to see him again. I love you GrandDude❤️
