Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! Started in Vienna at a blockchain conference and a day with the Yermacks. Bore witness to Auschwitz and Birkenau which are beyond photos and words (museumification exit photo), Pinball Museum of Krakow (why yes I did get you a tshirt), Prague with brilliant doctor, kind colleagues, and inspired trip to post office (the most fun I’ve ever had waiting in line, with the postal carrier dolls w PhD student Meddy to prove it), absolute gift of birthday celebration first with Fiona in The Hague and Delft (subjecting her to tacky selfie with Vermeer) then birthday dinner with @wendyewoon and Nathan Sanchez (and some #museumlegs) in Amsterdam. So grateful. Thanks too to my siblings for sending celebratory champagne! I was in Delft and at Mauritshuis with my parents 25 years ago and it was very meaningful to go back to a place I knew they had been.
