This is iconic 😂 Matthew McConaughey went from being one of Hollywood’s most recognizable leading men to an Academy Award-winning actor known for taking on some of the most memorable roles of his generation. He first broke through with “Dazed and Confused” in 1993 before starring in films like “A Time to Kill,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” and “The Lincoln Lawyer.” In 2014, McConaughey won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in “Dallas Buyers Club,” marking a major turning point in his career. Beyond acting, he became known for his laid-back Texas personality, distinctive voice, and signature catchphrase, “Alright, alright, alright,” which has become one of the most recognizable lines in movie history. #country #countrymusic
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has moved to recover KSh 623.39 million in alleged outstanding tax arrears from former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko through First Community Bank. In a notice dated October 12, 2026, KRA appointed the bank as its agent, directing it to remit any funds held on Sonko’s behalf, or any money owed to him, towards settling the claimed tax liability. The amount comprises KSh 308.92 million in principal tax, KSh 15.76 million in penalties and KSh 298.72 million in interest, relating to the period between January 2015 and December 2019. KRA invoked Section 42 of the Tax Procedures Act, 2015, which allows it to appoint third parties to help recover unpaid taxes. The authority warned that the bank could become personally liable for the specified amount if it fails to comply with the notice without reasonable cause. To every new mama reading this 🤍 I wish someone had told me all of this when I first became a mom. That not every phase lasts forever. That motherhood doesn’t mean losing yourself. That your body isn’t ruined, it’s changing. And that one day, you might actually love the woman you’ve become even more than the one you were before. That I didn’t have to enjoy every second to be a good mother. And most importantly, that becoming a mom doesn’t mean you have to stop becoming YOU. I’m sharing these words as a mom who’s been through the newborn days, the sleepless nights, the guilt, the changes, and the beautiful surprises that come with growing alongside your children. So save this for the days when motherhood feels a little too heavy. And send it to a new mama who needs to hear it. 🤍 Mamas who’ve been there, what’s ONE thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mother? Let’s make the comments a little survival guide for new moms. 🫶🏻 #NewMom #MotherhoodUnfiltered #PostpartumJourney #MomLife #Motherhood
