The ₹2 lakh reward for dr&g information is not a nationwide NDPS Act rule - it's specifically Jharkhand's new state policy from June 2026. The reward is paid in two stages: 50% after lab confirmation and 50% after chargesheet filing in court. Informants' identities remain confidential, and protection is provided for injuries or death. The viral claim is misleading you don't automatically get 2 lakh for informing about personal dr&g use, as the policy targets tr@ffick!ng operations, not casual users, and requires successful seizure plus legal proceedings.
