Will you hold my hand and let me lead you behind the scenes of my new movie? 🌹 You may know me as an actress inspired by classic cinema and vintage horror, but did you know that I also love… sword and sorcery? The sensual tales of ancient lands and forbidden rites conjured by the imagination of Robert E. Howard are what I drew upon when bringing my sorceress, Nemain, back to life in THE SLAVE AND THE TORTURER. I use magic… seduction and sometimes heart-stopping power to confront the dark forces of H. P. Lovecraft’s dreaded Old Ones, alongside a fantastic band of heroes. If you’re drawn to horror, dark fantasy and Lovecraftian sword and sorcery, then step closer… and feel my presence draw near. Swipe through these photographs, enter my world and embrace the dark quest my character must undertake, with a little glimpse of the magic happening behind the scenes… I hope you shall join me, and you can do so today by visiting my Kickstarter campaign through the link in my bio. Simply press “Notify me on launch” and you’ll be among the first to see me perform in our rather outrageous campaign video, discover my sumptuous new photographic portraits and explore the gorgeous exclusive Blu-rays we’ve been creating! I’d be so grateful to have you with me on this adventure. With love, Meg xxx 🖤 #swordandsorcery #lovecraft #darkfantasy #horrormovies #behindthescenes

Sometimes the most heartbreaking lesson in life is realizing the value of something only when you're about to lose it. Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983) delivers this painful truth through one of the most emotional and unforgettable moments in Disney animation history. What begins as a charming Christmas story slowly becomes a powerful reminder that money, success, and possessions mean nothing when the people who truly matter are no longer by your side. Directed by Burny Mattinson and inspired by Charles Dickens' timeless A Christmas Carol, this Disney classic features Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge, voiced by Alan Young, and Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit, voiced by Wayne Allwine. But beneath the beautiful hand-drawn animation and nostalgic Christmas atmosphere lies a message that becomes more meaningful as we grow older. Scrooge spends his life protecting his wealth, distancing himself from others, and believing that happiness can be measured by what he owns. Yet when he's forced to confront his past, present, and future, he begins to understand the terrible cost of everything he's neglected. And that's what makes this iconic Disney scene so emotionally powerful. The regret of missed opportunities. The memories of people we didn't appreciate enough. The painful realization that time continues moving, whether we're ready or not. As children, we watched Mickey's Christmas Carol as a magical holiday adventure. As adults, we recognize the heartbreaking truth hidden inside its beautiful visual storytelling. Because the saddest part of losing something precious isn't always the loss itself. Sometimes it's remembering all the moments when you could have loved it better. Cherish the people you love while they're still here to feel it. Save this timeless Disney moment or share it with someone who deserves a reminder that the greatest treasures in life are the people we sometimes take for granted.
