All the way from Melbourne, Australia!
A talented Scottish fiddle group led by Karen Anderson passed through Pictou on July 14th — just days after the launch of the Ship Hector!
Although the ship wasn’t quite ready for visitors yet, we got them as close as we could, and in return, they played the most beautiful tunes for us right on the waterfront. Several members of the group had personal connections to the Hector and were thrilled to finally see her in person.
It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do — the people we meet make it all so special! 🎻
