I got one or two requests for a Land Dweller / 1530 side to side. So here it is. These two watches are intrinsically connected and yet they’re worlds apart. The 1530 was a fantastic mid-70’s hybrid of two technologies and two visions of the (then) future. The Land Dweller is a wonderful glimpse into how today’s Rolex is looking ahead. In an echo of the 1530, it combines the latest tech with design cues that we’ve seen before - the integrated case and bracelet from a later reference OysterQuartz. Wideboy markers. “Honeycomb” dial. It’s fascinating to see two same but different approaches to improved timekeeping and accuracy, presented in a similar format. It’s also easy to look at both and embrace the 1530 as the hands-down winner. But I think that does a disservice to the Land Dweller. Looks are subjective but t’s thinner, even more comfy on the wrist, more refined. So why pick between them if you can have both? Happy #watchpalmsunday folks. See you soon. ⌚️ @rolex Land Dweller 127234 ⌚️ @rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1530 📸 @leicauk Q2 #rolex #landdweller #1530 #thatwatchpodcast

I REALLY don’t like to post myself, BUT… I had to give a shout out to Lulu, my son, and my amazing husband for making this an amazing birthday weekend for me 🫶🏽 🥳This past year has been filled with trials, love, loss, lessons learned, challenges, blessings, and growth. I am so grateful to have such an amazing family. 🎂 AND what an amazing #halloweencake they made for me!! 😱 swipe to see 👉🏻 💀Can’t believe allll these years with an #october #birthday and I’ve NEVER had a Halloween cake! I was so excited ☺️ They made it themselves too, which makes it twice as delicious 🥹 🚨Also - This is great time to remind anyone stopping by: this is a parent-ran page!
