I hear a lot of people saying, I can’t commit to a daily practise when I’m traveling.
I feel this makes us become further away from what yoga is.
Yoga is supposed to be simple.
Yoga is supposed to be sustainable
Yoga is supposed to be practiced daily, if you truly want to experience yoga
I used to be the same also, when I’m traveling I didn’t practice as I would be in a hostel or say I don’t have the time. To be honest though, I was too embarrassed and not well educated with how to show up for my yoga practice in a sustainable way. We should be able to practice no matter where we are. I used to not feel confident to practice in front of people, because when you’re budget traveling, most of the time you’re around people. The way I eradicated these beliefs was by having a Sadhana, at the start it was a very simple practice, a little pranayama and some simple asana that I knew I could do anywhere.
Each day I could feel how much yoga was changing my life, I just knew and WANTED to practice, I didn’t allow those beliefs of embarrassment to be present because it is not embarrassing to LOOK after your mind and body!
It’s sexy.
It’s okay if you’re in a same place, but I can assure you, something that will help you to be able to have a daily yoga practise while traveling is to have a Sadhana.
Comment ‘Sadhana’ and I can send you the post all about my new 1:1 Sadhana Journey to give you the tools to practise in a sustainable way suited specifically for you.
You deserve to show up for yourself daily.
Do you practise Jala neti too?
Forever love,
Tess xx
