@mattamabile says women lifting heavy makes him raise his own numbers. Happy to be of service, sir. 💅🏻💪🏻😆 Buuuuut the bulky comment he mentions is still heard a lot. After 20+ years in this industry, “you’ll get too bulky” can be one of the first things women hear when they start lifting heavier. And look — I’m not here to tell any woman what’s too bulky for her own body. She gets to decide that. 🙌🏻 But I am here to tell you that strength training doesn’t accidentally turn you into a bodybuilder overnight. Building muscle takes intention and time — and you have to have your strength training, protein, calories, and recovery locked in to do it. And yes — building muscle at midlife is totally possible! If you want to know exactly how to gain muscle... 👇🏻 Follow me, then comment “GAIN” below 👇🏻 …and I’ll send you our FREE Menopause & Muscle Gain Cheat Sheet! In this Cheat Sheet, you’ll learn: ✅ The 4 most important muscle-building keys for women over 40 ✅ How much protein & calories you should eat to support muscle growth ✅ Which 2 supplements may be beneficial for building muscle, bone density, & strength Remember — muscle is like an insurance policy for your body as you age. If you want to be able to pick up your kids and grandkids, haul your own suitcase into the overhead bin, hike all day, and get up off the floor without thinking about it... you need muscle to do it. 💪🏻 So if you wanna get jacked AF in midlife (or just strong enough to make the guys at your gym step it up 😂)... 👇🏻 Just comment “GAIN” below 👇🏻 …and then check your DMs! 👀
